Removing auxiliary headlamp

INFORMATION: The key-card for unlocking the auxiliary headlamp is in the on-board folder.







1. Insert the key-card at the side of the auxiliary headlamp.
2. By pressing the card in -A-, the auxiliary headlamp is unlocked. It is possible that the second engagement needs to be unlocked by pressing the card again.
3. Remove auxiliary headlamp. When removing the auxiliary headlamp, make sure that the ventilation connection piece - required for re-installation - is attached to the auxiliary headlamp.







4. Disconnect the electrical plug connections -1, 2, 3- (unlock) -A-, and remove auxiliary headlamps.

CAUTION:
Auxiliary headlight is inserted into the front apron at a tilt.
- Risk of damage to paintwork on front spoiler
- Carefully insert auxiliary headlight into the guides on the front apron.
- Make sure that the guide on the housing is inserted into the guide on the front apron.


1. Make sure that the ventilation connection piece is correctly seated on the auxiliary headlamp.
2. Connect the electrical plugs to the auxiliary headlamp, pressing until they audibly click into place.







3. Make sure that the electrical lines are in the guides correctly.







4. Insert auxiliary headlamp into front spoiler -A- and press -B- until you feel the auxiliary headlamp snap into place.

Reworking auxiliary headlight

INFORMATION: On installing a new auxiliary headlight, the adjustment must be checked with a headlight adjustment unit and adjusted if necessary.







Use hexagon socket wrench insert size 4 through opening in front spoiler and adjust the auxiliary headlight.
