Clutch Hydraulic System: Testing and Inspection
Eliminating power transmission symptoms - Reworking the clutch hydraulic system
General information
Symptoms
After pressing the clutch, the clutch pedal is slow to come back up and does not fully reach its original position.
Causes and remedial action
This is caused by air in the clutch hydraulic system. In the event of a complaint, rework the clutch hydraulic system.
If the complaint occurs again after you have carried out the required remedial action, the screws in the clutch pressure plate must be checked to ensure they are seated securely. If this is not the case, all the screws in the clutch pressure plate must be replaced crosswise one at a time.
