Removing And Installing Engine Compartment Lid

Preliminary work

Remove trim panel for convertible top rest. Refer to Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest.

Removing engine compartment lid

1. Turn fastening screws -1- in -direction of arrow- and lift engine compartment lid -2- up and off.







2. Check mounting point -3-, replacing if necessary.

Installing engine compartment lid

1. Position engine compartment lid -2- and fasten with the fastening screws -1- by turning in -direction of arrow-.







Subsequent work

Install trim panel for convertible top rest. Refer to Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest.
