S 8.3 Painting Spoilers

S 8.3.1 Painting standard spoilers

WARNING: -> 2 "Safety regulations" and read the product-specific safety instructions on the container labels.

NOTE:
- The new 928 spoiler must be baked for 30 minutes at 70-80° C.
- This stabilizes the component in such a way that it cannot bend out of shape.
- If possible, do not sand primer through to bare material on spoilers that are supplied primed ex-works.

NOTE:
- For GFK spoilers of type 996 Aerokit/GT2/GT3/Turbo, special insulation is required in areas with adhesion seams. These areas must therefore be insulated twice using Standox(R) 2K Nonstop Primer Filler.
- Primer filler and clear lacquer do not need to be elastic-rendered for this component. -> S 8.3.2 "Painting GFK/SMC spoilers"

The following procedure applies for all other spoilers:
