Preliminary work
1. Remove battery cover.
2. Connect rapid-start battery charger to the vehicle battery.
3. Follow the instructions for the rapid-start battery charger under: "Battery charging condition/operating status".

Tools and materials
Check battery voltage using a rapid-start battery charger. Refer to Workshop Equipment.
