Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Fault code 1325

System fault

NOTE:
- This fault occurs if the signals from the wheel electronics are not detected correctly within the specified learning time (max. approx. 30 minutes) during the learning phase (after changing wheels, selecting new wheel type and size in instrument cluster). For example, only three sets of wheel electronics are received. As a result, the wheel IDs cannot be taught through driving. It is then only possible to make a (wheel) position-based fault assignment with the 9588 Porsche System Tester II by entering the wheel identification numbers, not by driving.
- This fault can occur if active wheel electronics or wheels with wheel electronics are transported in or on the vehicle.
- Wheel electronics of other vehicles have a lower transmission power and cannot be used on the Cayenne.
- Systems with a transmission frequency of 315 MHz are installed in vehicles for some Asian and Arab countries for legal reasons. These wheel electronics and the antennae can be identified by the light grey colour. The components must not be interchanged with components from the other 433 MHz systems.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system, internal function test

Possible causes of fault
- No, too few or too many wheel electronics detected in the learning phase
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system is not coded or is coded incorrectly
- One or more wheel electronics faulty
- Wheel electronics with lower transmission power installed
- Unequal combination of wheel electronics, antenna and control module (315 or 433 MHz), mixed installation
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system faulty

Affected pins
-

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE:
- An unequal system pairing (mixed installation) of wheel electronics, antenna and control module with 315 (light grey) or 433 MHz (black) can result in this fault entry.
- The wheel electronics identification numbers are printed on the parts. The wheel electronics identification numbers installed at the factory can be read out from the "IPAS" system.
