Fault Code 1397

Vent solenoid valve

Diagnostic conditions

- Ignition on
- Internal level control module function test

Possible cause of fault

- Short circuit to B+ in the wiring of pin 33 of the level control module (identified only when activated)
- Short circuit to ground or open circuit in the wiring of pin 33 of the level control module
- Vent solenoid valve faulty
- Level control module faulty

NOTE: If multiple valve faults (fault code 0805, 0806, 0807, 0808) or another relay fault (fault code 1399) are recorded, check the system's plug connections for correct contacts.

Affected pins

Level control module, plug A:
- Pin 33 'vent solenoid valve (low)'
- Pin 43 'vent solenoid valve (high)'

Level control system compressor, plug A:
- Pin 1 'vent solenoid valve (high)'
- Pin 2 'vent solenoid valve (low)'
