PSM
Fault code 1435Pressure sensor
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal PSM control module function test
Possible cause of fault
- The pressure sensor was not calibrated or was not calibrated correctly (no or incorrect basic setting/adaptation)
- Actual value of pressure sensor is evaluated as implausible (implausible signal)
- Short circuit to ground (electrical fault in electric circuit)
- Short circuit to B+ (electrical fault in electric circuit)
- Open circuit in circuit to control module (electrical fault in electric circuit)
Affected pins
PSM control module plug:
- Pin 18 'power supply'
- Pin 19 'ground supply'
- Pin 20 'analogue signal'
Diagnosis/troubleshooting PSM 0101
NOTE:
- Calibration completed successfully, or checked and found to be OK.
- During calibration, the flashing frequency of the ABS warning light increases to 1.9 Hz The brake warning light flashes with a lower frequency (1.1 Hz)
- Visual inspection: In the next troubleshooting section, please check first that the affected 'pins' on the PSM control module plug connection and the pins on the pressure sensor plug connection are neither damaged nor corroded. The wiring of the affected components must also be checked for external damage. Repair damaged or corroded pins if possible, otherwise replace affected pins. Repair or replace damaged wire.
