Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal auxiliary heater control unit function test

Possible cause of fault
- No display in air-conditioning control unit display
- The same fault has happened 3 times or 5 different faults have happened in succession
- Auxiliary heater control unit faulty

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE:
Visual inspection: During the next check, first ensure that the affected '
pins of the 14-pin connector on the wiring harness are neither damaged nor corroded. Remove any soiling or corrosion/oxidation. Replace damaged parts/wires.

NOTE:
Depending on the fault codes entered in the 'fault memory' of the 9588 Porsche System tester II, check the fuel supply, the coolant circuit, or the air intake.
