Fault in speed control unit

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2/CDR23 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8013 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI/CDR23 if the operating buttons are actuated for '≥ one 'or more minutes
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2/CDR23 If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort (applies only to software version number < 03)

Possible cause of fault
- CD changer faulty

NOTE:
- The MOST optical wave guide is connected to the following control modules:
- PCM2/CDR23
- Optional external amplifier (BOSE)
- CD changer optional
- Telephone/telematics (only in conjunction with PCM2)

Diagnosis/troubleshooting
