PCM2/CDR23 - External BOSE Amplifier

8004 External BOSE Amplifier

Fault in front right and rear left loudspeaker channel.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2/CDR23 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI if the operating buttons are actuated for 1 Min.
- Deactivate the automatic traffic announcement before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort.

Possible cause of fault
- Open circuit, contact resistance or short circuit to B+/ground in the wiring harness
- Loudspeaker faulty
- Amplifier faulty

External BOSE amplifier, plug A, pin 24, pin 29, pin 25, pin 30
