Malfunction in rear left loudspeaker

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2/CDR23 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI if the operating buttons are actuated for '≥ 1 Min.'.
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2/CDR23. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort (applies only to software version number < 03).
- This fault code is set by means of a self-test with the 9588 Porsche System Tester II.

Possible cause of fault
- Wiring harness/rear left loudspeaker faulty
- External BOSE amplifier output stage faulty

Affected pin
BOSE amplifier control unit, plug A, pins 25 and 30.

Diagnosis/troubleshooting
