Exhaust Camshaft Driver - Open Circuit

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 10 V and 16 V
- Time after engine starts greater than 10 seconds

Possible cause of fault
- Open circuit in control line
- Open circuit in voltage supply
- Fuse F9 faulty (fuse carrier in radiator tank E-box)
- KE 7 connection disconnected
- Exhaust camshaft adjuster faulty (internal open circuit)
- DME control module faulty

Affected pins
DME control module plug B, pin 120, and pin 2 of exhaust camshaft adjuster plug

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The wire for fuse F9 and pin 1 of the exhaust camshaft adjuster plug is routed via pin 6 of the KE 7 connection
