Removing And Installing Ignition Coils

Preliminary work
1. Remove rear cover.

1. Slide rubber sleeves of ignition coil plug connections upwards.
2. Release and pull off plugs on each ignition coil.
3. Unscrew two M6 x 25 fastening screws -arrow- each per ignition coil and remove the six ignition coils individually.







Installation

Installing ignition coils
1. Insert ignition coils into the spark-plug recesses and tighten using two M6 x 25 fastening screws each.
Tightening torque: 10 (7.5 ftlb.) Nm







2. Mount cable plug to the individual ignition coils. The connectors must engage audibly.
3. Slide rubber sleeves over the connectors.

Subsequent work

1. Install rear cover.
