Replacing connectors for transmission wire harness





Preliminary work

1. Remove ATF pan.
2. Remove electrohydraulic control unit.

Replacing connectors for transmission wire harness

Information:
Note the arrangement of the cables for the connector housings to be replaced and do not get the cables mixed up.

1. Hold the connector housing with the connector tab -1- up and press the release tool press-out tool set Nr.155 Pos.1, tool no. 93005 (Mibostahl set) into the openings above and below the contact -arrow- until the resistance of the locking lug on the contact is clearly overcome. Leave the tool in the connector housing.

2. Position the release tool press-out tool set Nr.155 Pos.1, tool no. 95511 (Mibostahl set) at the upper connector tab -1- and break this off in an upward direction using the tool. -arrow-

3. Pull the cable back out of the connector housing -1- at the sleeve.

4. Press the cable into the new connector housing -1- from behind until the contact engages securely in the housing. Make sure that the cables are arranged correctly in the connector housing.
