Preliminary work

Remove cover for front middle backrest. -> 742019 Removing and installing front middle backrest cover (folding sports bucket seat) - section on "Removing" 742019 Removing and installing cover for front middle backrest (folding sports bucket seat)

Removing padding for front middle backrest





Installation position of padding for front middle backrest (folding sports bucket seat)

1. Release Velcro fasteners -1- on the back of the padding -2- all the way around ( -Figure A- ).





Releasing rear cover

2. Fold cover -3- over all the way around ( -Figure B- ).
3. Carefully detach Velcro strip -1- on the cover from the Velcro fastener on the front of the padding -2- ( -arrows- ).

4. Take off the cover -3-.

Installing padding for front middle backrest

1. Position cover -3- on the front of the padding -2-.





Pressing on cover at the front

2. Align Velcro strip -1- on the cover with the Velcro fastener on the padding -2- and secure it -arrows-.
3. Fold cover -3- over all the way around and straighten it ( -Figure A- ).





Securing cover at the back

4. Press on Velcro fasteners -1- on the back of the padding -2- ( -Figure B- ).

Subsequent work

Install cover for front middle backrest. -> 742019 Removing and installing front middle backrest cover (folding sports bucket seat) - section on "Installing" 742019 Removing and installing cover for front middle backrest (folding sports bucket seat)
