Removing And Installing Spray Nozzle For Headlight Washer System

Remove front apron.
Remove fog lights.

1. Press both retaining lugs of spray nozzle together and remove it from front apron.







2. Release quick-connecting lock of water connection -a- and pull away from the spray nozzle.

1. Insert spray nozzle in front apron until it engages.







2. Push water hose onto the spray nozzle until it is felt to engage.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for spray nozzle of headlight washer system
1. Install fog lights.
2. Install front apron.
3. Bleed the spray nozzles. The system is bled by activating the spray nozzles for the headlight washer multiple times. Depending on whether it is a left or right spray nozzle, or whether the water reservoir for the headlight washer was completely emptied or not, the bleeding process can require frequent activations of the spray nozzle.

1. Insert an angled scriber, for example, into the opening in the nozzle head and pull the spray nozzle up and out.
2. Hold the nozzle head at the top and disengage the catch on the spray nozzle with a small screwdriver -A-. The nozzle head is released from the spray nozzle and the spray nozzle moves back into place.

1. Insert the nozzle head into the opening on the spray nozzle and slide it in as far as it will go. The nozzle head clicks into place in the spray nozzle.
2. Check function of spray nozzle and spray range.
