Preliminary work for removing control unit for cooling air control
1. Disconnect ground lead of battery.
Danger
Vehicle raised incorrectly.
^ Danger of fatal injury or material damage should the vehicle fall down.
-> Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
3. Remove front right wheel. Use special tool socket wrench insert P 300 to avoid damage to the rim.
4. Remove right front wheel housing liner.

1. Unclip vent line -1- from the bracket and set aside.
2. Unscrew the Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-.

3. Pull out control unit for cooling air control to the rear.
4. Release and disconnect cable plug -arrows-.

5. Unscrew two M6 hexagon nuts on the support and take off the control unit.

1. Position control unit in support and tighten with two M6 hexagon nuts. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
2. Push on cable plug -arrows-.

3. Insert control unit into the retaining lug -arrow-.

4. Clip vent line -1- into the bracket.
5. Screw in the Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work for installing control unit for cooling air control
Subsequent work for installing control unit for cooling air control
1. Install right front wheel housing liner.
2. Install front right wheel. Use special tool socket wrench insert P 300 to avoid damage to the rim.
3. Connect the battery.
4. Read out fault memory and correct any faults that are present. Erase fault memory.
