Removing And Installing Hall Sender

Preliminary work for removing hall sender
1. If the hall sender for cylinder bank 1 -3 is removed, the rear wall cover must be removed.

Removing hall sender

DANGER:
Vehicle raised incorrectly.
- Danger of fatal injury or material damage should the vehicle fall down.
- Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

1. Release and disconnect cable plug -1-.










2. Remove hall sender -3- by unscrewing the Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-.

Installing hall sender







1. Replace O-ring. Lightly grease O-ring -arrow- with Optimol MP3.
2. Fit hall sender -3- by screwing in and tightening the Torx screw (M6 x 16) -2-. Tightening torque: 7.5 ft. lbs.










3. Push on cable plug -1-.

Subsequent work for installing hall sender
1. If the hall sender for cylinder bank 1-3 has been removed, the rear wall cover must be installed.
