General information on "Porsche Dynamic Repair"

The term "Porsche Dynamic Repair" refers to cost-effective minor repairs, which are preferred over part replacement.

These repair methods can be used to rectify small areas of damage and signs of use with little effort or cost. This usually eliminates the need for replacement parts and the removal and installation of components.

However, a cost-effective repair may have quality implications. To achieve the best repair result, always use the tool recommended by Porsche and attend the special training courses put on by the tool/system suppliers. The quality of the repair also depends on a number of factors, which are listed under the relevant repair descriptions.

The individual repair methods are:
- Glass repairs
- Dent repairs
- Interior cosmetic repairs
- Paint repairs
- Alloy wheel reconditioning
- PCM repairs (process description in the Technical Sales Manual)

Repairs can only be carried out independently after successfully completing a course, or should be contracted out to specialist providers. In either case, always comply with the instructions and repair restrictions for the individual repair methods.
