Preliminary work

Remove trim panel for convertible top rest/engine compartment lid. -> 700819 Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest - section on "Removing" 700819 Removing and installing trim panel for convertible top rest/engine compartment lid

Removing rear-wall trim panel

1. Move front seat all the way forward.
2. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-.

3. Loosen rear wall trim panel -2- at the sides from the side trim panel -Arrow A- and lift up and out -Arrow B-.

Installing rear wall trim panel

1. Position rear wall trim panel -2- -Arrow A- and insert sides between the body and side trim panel -Arrow B-.

2. Screw in -1- fastening nuts.
3. Move front seat back to the initial position.

Subsequent work
