Repairs or spare parts requirements:

- ATF cooler,
- ATF cooler connection supply and return lines (referred to below as lines").

As of December 4, 2009, the lines on the ATF cooler connection have changed.

Identifying feature of new attachment:





The supply and return lines are now secured to the ATF cooler with a clamped threaded connection (--> Figure 1).

Previous attachment: Lines secured to cooler using union nut.

The Workshop Manual has been changed accordingly.

Repairs:

The following applies for spare parts requirements:

^ Previous ATF cooler (threaded connection with union nut):

Parts no longer available after existing supplies are used up.

^ New ATF cooler (clamped threaded connection):

When installing a new ATF cooler in a vehicle with the old threaded connection for lines (union nut), the new supply and return lines must be installed.

^ Previous supply and return lines (threaded connection with union nut):

Parts still available for spare parts requirements.
