Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove battery cover. -> 271219 Removing and installing battery cover - section on "Removing" 27121900 Removing and installing battery cover
2. Disconnect battery. -> 2706IN Working instructions after disconnecting the battery

Installation position of alarm horn

1. Release connector -2- and remove it -arrows a-.

2. Counter at the fastening screw -4- if necessary and screw off the fastening nut -3-.
3. Remove alarm horn -1-.

1. Release connector -2- and remove it -arrows a-.

2. Counter at the fastening screw -4- and unscrew fastening nut -3-.
3. Remove alarm siren -1-.

Installing alarm horn.

1. Position alarm horn -1-. Insert fastening screw -4- , counter (if necessary) and tighten the fastening nut -3-. => Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)





Installing alarm horn

2. Push on connector -2- until it engages securely.

Installing alarm siren

1. Position alarm siren -1-. Insert and counter fastening screw -4- and tighten fastening nut -3-. => Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)





Installing alarm siren

2. Push on connector -2- until it is felt to engage.

Subsequent work

1. Connect the battery. -> 2706IN Working instructions after disconnecting the battery
2. Remove battery cover. -> 271219 Removing and installing battery cover - section on "Installing" 27121900 Removing and installing battery cover
