Technical values
Removing anti-roll bar
1. Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points. -> 4X00IN01 Lifting the vehicle Service and Repair.
2. Remove the support plate on vehicles with PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung).

3. Remove rear anti-roll bar.
Removing anti-roll bar
3.1. Unscrew one hexagon nut (at the left and right) on the suspension/stabiliser (connecting link) -arrow-. Counter at the internal Torx screw on the suspension/stabiliser while doing this.
3.2. Unscrew two fastening screws on the rear-axle side section -arrows-. Repeat the procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
3.3. Slide the anti-roll bar towards the rear, turn it as required and remove it sideways (to the left or right).
Installing anti-roll bar
1. Install rear anti-roll bar. Always tighten the connecting links (suspension/stabilisers) in three steps!
1.1. Insert the anti-roll bar into the vehicle (guide in sideways) and position it.
1.2. Engage the anti-roll bar on the connecting links (suspension/stabilisers) -arrow- and then secure it to the rear-axle side sections using two hexagon-head bolts -arrows- on each. => Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
Anti-roll-bar mount
1.3. Fit new M10 collar nuts on the connecting link joint -arrow- (at the left and right). Counter with a Torx socket-wrench insert when tightening. Observe three-step tightening procedure.
Step 1:=> Final tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
Step 2:=> Loosen by 1/4 turn after initial tightening: Loosen by 90°
Step 3: Tighten to 65 Nm (48 ftlb.). => Final tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)
2. Install the support plate on vehicles with PDK.
