Preliminary work at front

Information

- The following work is described for the right side of the vehicle. The worksteps are identical for both sides of the vehicle.

Preliminary work at rear

Information

- The following work is described for the right side of the vehicle. The worksteps are identical for both sides of the vehicle.

1. Remove wheel. -> 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on "Removing" Removal and Replacement
2. Remove rear wheel housing liner. -> 536919 Removing and installing rear wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Service and Repair.

Remove transmitter for TMP at front





TMP transmitter overview

1. Release connector for TMP transmitter -arrow a- and pull off -arrow-.





Unlock electrical feed line at transmitter

2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove transmitter -arrow-.





Remove transmitter at front

Remove TMP transmitter at rear

1. Release connector for TMP transmitter -arrow a- and pull off -arrow-.





Unlock electrical feed line at transmitter

2. Unclip transmitter for TMP from holder -arrows- and remove.





Remove transmitter for TMP at rear

Install transmitter for TMP at front

1. Position transmitter and screw in fastening screws -1-.





Install transmitter at front

2. Plug on the connector for the TMP transmitter -arrow-.





Plug on the connector for the TMP.

Install transmitter for TMP at rear

1. Move screwing tab of TMP transmitter into its holder and clip on the transmitter -arrow-.





Install transmitter for TMP

2. Plug on the connector for the TMP transmitter -arrow-.





Plug on the connector for the TMP.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work at rear

1. Install rear wheel housing liner. -> 536919 Removing and installing rear wheel housing liner - section on "Installing" Service and Repair.
2. fit wheel. -> 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on "Installing" Removal and Replacement
