Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for backrest.

2. Only for adaptive sports seat with air cushion in the side bolsters:
Remove air cushion for left backrest:

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove the left backrest side-bolster support -2-.

2. Lift up the backrest air cushion and cut tie-wraps -1- using side cutters.

3. Remove cable sleeve -1- , unplug the connector -2- ( -A- ) and guide the line through in a downward direction -B-.

4. Pull off pressure line for motor for air cushion -1- at the connection point -A-.

5. Unclip motor for air cushion -1- together with the bracket -2- and pull it up and out -A-.

1. Position motor for air cushion -1- together with the bracket -2- downwards -A-.

2. Insert pressure line for motor for air cushion -1- at the connection point -A-.

3. Guide the line for the motor for the air cushion through in an upward direction -A- , plug in the connector -2- ( -B- ) and attach cable sleeve -1-.

4. Lift up the backrest air cushion and fit tie-wraps -1-.

5. Fit the left backrest side-bolster support -2- and secure with fastening screws -1-.

Subsequent work

1. Only for adaptive sports seat with air cushion in the side bolsters:
Install air cushion for left backrest:
-> 721719 Removing and installing air cushion for backrest 721719 Removing and installing air cushion for backrest
2. Install cover for backrest.
