Information

The front-axle carrier is high and for this reason it is only possible to remove the transmission on the lifting platform with the engine removed. For details see -> 343527 Removing and refitting transmission. During this process, the front of the engine must be supported at the oil-filter housing/oil guide housing by means of a strut, otherwise the engine would tip forwards when the transmission was removed.
