Windscreen washer/headlight cleaning system: checking operation, nozzle settings

NOTICE

Headlight surface not cleaned properly

- Scratches

-> Use only soapy water to clean the exterior lights and the plastic headlight lenses.
-> Never use chemical cleaning agents.
-> To avoid scratches, do not rub with dry or slightly damp cloths, paper towels or insect-removal sponges.

Information

- The headlight washer nozzles are pre-set!

- Generally, it is not necessary to adjust them!

Information

Check operation, fluid level indicator and nozzle settings. If the spray nozzle settings for the windscreen washer system are not OK, the nozzles need to be adjusted:

- Insert a sharp object (needle) into the nozzle hole.

- Align the spray nozzles using the sharp object.

Checking wiper blades

Check the wiper blades for any deformities and tears.
1. Turn on the ignition, operate the spray nozzles and check the quality of the wipers.
