Communication PSM control module

Diagnostic conditions
The control unit must be active in order to be able to test internal function sequences and diagnosable inputs/outputs.

In the event of a fault, check to ensure that the diagnosis object is faulty. Check whether the fault is permanently >present<, erase the fault memory, satisfy diagnosis conditions and read out the fault memory again.

During wake-up, PSM control module the Functional sequence first checks the internal function
sequences.
If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are then tested and any Fault are stored.

Wake-up of the PSM control module by:
- Event-controlled CAN message
- Ignition on

Fault setting condition(s)
- No Power supply of the PSM control module
- Incorrect Coding of the PSM control module
- Short circuit or Open circuit of the CAN drive
- PSM control module faulty (in most cases, a faulty Coding is the cause and not the PSM control module.)

Fault effects
- Communication via the CAN drive is no longer possible
- For all other Control module, the PSM control module not can no longer be addressed
