Removing and Installing Particle Filter

Installation position of particle filter

The particle filter is located behind the dashboard in the heater/air-conditioning unit in the right footwell.

Installation Position of Particle Filter:

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover in footwell on the passenger's side.

Removing particle filter

1. Open the cover -1- on the particle filter at the three clip connections -2-.

1.1. If the clip connection is defective, the cover -1- can be screwed. Screws are defined for this purpose in the Spare Parts Catalogue.

Diesel Particle Filter:

2. Pull out particle filter -1-.

1. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.

Subsequent work

1. Install cover in footwell on the passenger's side.
