Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

Ride Height Adjustment

Ride height on these vehicles is not adjustable. Front and rear ride height must be measured in order to calculate the angle of the floor pan, which is used to determine the correct caster angle. Measure ride height and determine floor pan angle as follows:
1. Place unloaded vehicle on flat surface.

2. Measure and record front ride height (H2) between front side rail and ground at center line of front wheels, Fig. 2.

3. Measure and record rear ride height (H5) between side arm bolt and ground, Figs. 2 and 3.
4. Calculate the difference between the measurements and record difference to determine correct caster angle.
