System Service

AUXILIARY AIR REGULATOR, REPLACE
1. Disconnect electrical connector and hoses from regulator.
2. Remove regulator retaining bolts and the regulator.
3. Plug cylinder head opening to prevent loss of coolant.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

FUEL INJECTOR, REPLACE
1. Remove injector clamp retaining bolts.
2. Disconnect fuel line and electrical connector from injector.
3. Remove fuel injector assembly.
4. Remove hose from injector, then clean end of injector assembly.
5. Coat inside of new injector hose with fuel, then install onto injector.
6. Install injector and secure with clamp.

THERMO COOLANT TIME SWITCH, REPLACE
1. Disconnect switch electrical connector.
2. Unscrew switch from engine, then plug opening to prevent loss of coolant.
3. Reverse procedure to install.

AIRFLOW METER, REPLACE
1. Disconnect airflow meter electrical connector.
2. Disconnect air intake and air output hose clamps from airflow meter.
3. Remove retaining bracket, then remove airflow meter.
4. Reverse procedure to install.

OXYGEN SENSOR, REPLACE
1. Disconnect sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove switch from exhaust manifold.
3. Coat threads of new switch with exhaust sealer.
4. Install new switch into exhaust manifold.
5. Connect switch electrical connector.
