1. Improperly adjusted manual linkage.
2. Incorrect fluid level.

5. Worn front clutch and seals.
6. Worn forward sun gear sealing rings.
7. Leaking or missing driven shaft cup plug.
8. Worn or damaged front pump and drive tangs.
9. Leaking pump inlet pipe.
10. Defective one-way clutch.
NO DRIVE IN DRIVE, 2, 1 & REVERSE
1. Improperly adjusted manual linkage.
2. Incorrect fluid level.
3. Incorrect downshift cable adjustment.
4. Dirty valve body passages.
5. Worn front clutch and seals.
6. Worn forward sun gear sealing rings.
7. Leaking or missing driven shaft cup plug.
8. Worn or damaged front pump and drive tangs.
9. Defective one-way clutch.
10. Leak at pump inlet pipe.
DELAYED OR NO 1-2 SHIFT
1. Incorrect downshift cable adjustment.
2. Dirty governor passages.
3. Dirty valve body passages.
4. Incorrect front band adjustment.
5. Leaking front servo seals or tubes.
SLIPS ON 1-2 SHIFT
1. Improper fluid level.
2. Incorrect downshift cable adjustment.
3. Incorrect front band adjustment.
4. Leaking front servo seals or tubes.
5. Worn front band.
6. Dirty valve body or sticking valves.
DELAYED OR NO 2-3 SHIFT
1. Incorrect downshift cable adjustment.
