Inner Driveshaft

A new inner drive shaft has been introduced.
The new shaft has a shoulder instead of the earlier circlip to serve as a stop for the driver. The shoulder tapers somewhat towards the driver.
The splines of the driver have a corresponding taper.

NOTE: Only the new driver may be fitted to the new shaft.

On the other hand, the new driver may also befitted to the earlier shaft.
On GL models for the Nordic countries, the modification has been introduced as from the following chassis numbers:

AC1022347, AC2007941, AC3007195 and AC6001952

On other models:
AC 1005904, AC2001784, AC3001770 and AC6000001





A Sturdier Inner Driver (universal joint) with space for a sturdier tripod has been introduced as from the following chassis numbers:
AG 2009923
AG 3007066
AG 7011598

As from gearbox numbers:
671842, 759478

Following these modifications, gearboxes:
