Air Bag Systems: Description and Operation

This system consists of two front sensors, safety sensor, electronic control unit (ECU) and a airbag module containing a gas generator and airbag.
The system will activate when at least one of the two front sensors and the safety sensor are subjected to a force equivalent to a frontal collision at 12 mph.
