Instructions, service manuals and labels affixed to the side of the driver's door call for inspection of the Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) after a period of 10 years.
Saab 900 cars manufactured M94 are to be treated as Saab 900 M94-.
Saab 900CV cars manufactured before M95 are to be treated as Saab 900CV M95-.
The SRS system is maintenance-free and does not require extra inspection after 10 years. The SRS inspections that are included in Saab's regular service schedules, see Service Manual 1 Service 1994-98, are sufficient.
Customers inquiring about a special 10-year inspection of the SRS system are to be informed that this inspection has been replaced by the inspections that are normally performed in connection with Saab's regular service schedules.
