Application: 900 and 9000 Vehicles


In cooperation with Goodyear, Michelin and Pirelli, Saab assists its dealers in the purchase of tires that are, or have been, delivered as original equipment on Saab cars. These tires are not stocked at Saab Distribution Centers, but are drop shipped directly from the manufacturers' warehouses to the ordering dealer.

Ordering and billing are arranged through Saab using the following procedures:


Telephone orders will be accepted by the Meriden Order Office in Meriden CT (203) 634-6262

Orders may also be telefaxed to Meriden using the special order forms listed below. (203) 634-6299

Special order forms for each manufacturer are available for mailed orders, or for use with telefaxed orders. Both order submission methods must be sent to the Meriden Order Office. The order forms may be obtained by ordering the following part numbers:

Saab will process the order with the tire manufacturer arranging for a drop-ship to your dealership. Saab will then invoice you.


Note: Use tires that are the original size and speed rating. Do not mix different brands or different specifications on the same car. A tire may supersede in the Saab parts system to another tire with a newer speed rating designation. In such cases the manufacturer has authorized the use of the new specification tire along with an earlier design.
