DTC 45341 - LF Impact Sensor Resistance to Ground too High

MALFUNCTION
Diagnostic trouble code 45341: FS 1 (Left Front Impact Sensor), resistance to ground too high

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1. Undo the front sensor retaining screws. Clean the contact surfaces between the sensor and its bracket, as well as the threads of the rivet nuts, using a wire brush or blunt thread tap. Do not use chemicals.
2. Lubricate the threads and cavities in the rivet nuts. Lubricate the threads of new retaining screws and screw them back in place.

NOTE: As lubricant, use Gleitmo 750, part No. (45) 30 07 309, Ford Motorcraft Silicone Dielectric Compound or any equivalent product having good conductivity and high viscosity.

3. Clear the trouble code and wait at least 40 seconds with the ignition ON. Then check whether the trouble code recurs.
If the trouble code recurs, DTC 45321 - Left Front Impact Sensor Open Circuit
