MANUAL/AUTOMATIC PROGRAMMING
The Saab Trionic control module has the same part number for cars with a manual gearbox and those with automatic transmission.

When pin 14 is energized by selection of a gear position other than P or N, the control module is programmed for a car with automatic transmission.

On cars with manual transmission, the circuit to pin 14 is open.
