Cables and Leads
The cables are marked with a cable code consisting of three parts:1102 RD 4.0
Where
1102 = Item number
RD = Colour code
4.0 = Conductor cross-section area in Sq. mm.
Item number
All leads are designated by an individual number, sometimes followed by a letter or a dash and numeral.
Leads with the same number, such as 110, 110-1, 110-2 etc., generally belong to the same subsystem.
Conductor Cross-section Area
The conductor cross-section area is specified in Sq. mm. and determines the current the cable is capable of carrying.
