General Information
General Information About FusesThe car's +12 V power supply is fed to the various consumer units via three main fuse boxes, one behind the glovebox, one in the engine bay by the left-hand headlamp and one for the ABS brakes in the engine bay on the bulkhead partition. Most of the fuses and relays are located in the main fuse boxes.
The fuses are of blade type and, together with their connecting sockets, give rise to a lower voltage drop than earlier types. They are also more resistant to corrosion.

Checking Blade Fuse:
Checking blade fuses
Each blade fuse has test sockets which can be used to check that the fuse is intact without the need to remove it. If both sockets are live, the fuse is intact.
On a fuse that has been removed it is possible to see whether it has blown.
