Selector Shaft Bushes

NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.





NOTE: The bushes for the selector shafts should be removed before cleaning the gear case. Certain detergents could destroy the bushes.

Removal
- Using driver tool No. 87 91 238, or equivalent, carefully tap out the three bushes in the gear case and the bush for the selector shaft in the clutch case.





Installation
- Carefully tap in the bushes using driver tool.

NOTE: The reverse selector shaft has no bush in the gear case.
