Fault symptoms
Fog lights not working, on one or both sides.

Diagnostic help
Check fuse 5 in the engine bay and fuse 37 in the cabin.

The following value can be read with the diagnostic tool:
- Front fog light switch

The following function can be activated with the diagnostic tool:
- Front fog light relay

Check that the main lighting is functioning correctly. The fog lights are dependent on the main light switch and program alternative.

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits. Note the reaction of the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.
