Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

G Sensor

REMOVAL
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the console cover.
Disconnect the connector from G sensor.
Remove the G sensor from body.

Important:
^ Do not drop or bump the G sensor.
^ G sensor and the bracket are integrated into one unit. Therefore, do not disassemble it.





INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Important: Do not drop or bump the G sensor.

Tightening torque: 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft. lbs.)
