DSM

Before changing the DSM, perform Preparations prior to removing a control module.

Removing

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cowl.







3. Remove the upholstery strip from the front edge of the seat base.
4. Remove screws securing the DSM.
5. Undo and remove the clip holding the DSM. Remove the DSM.







IMPORTANT: Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection.

6. Unplug the DSM.

Fitting

IMPORTANT: Take care when plugging in the connector so as not to damage or press out the pins/sleeves in the connector. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection.

1. Plug in the DSM.
2. Position the DSM.







3. Fit the clip to the DSM.
4. Secure the clip fit the DSM.
5. Fit the upholstery strip to the front edge of the seat base.







6. Fit the front seat cowl.
7. Fit the front seat.

Perform the procedure for after fitting a control module.
