Complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential

Warning: The hydraulic pressure in the differential clutch is very high. Wait or at least 10 minutes before removing any parts from the differential clutch.

To remove
1. Carry out Procedures before dismantling the control module.
2. Remove Drive shafts, rear, 4WDleft and right-hand side.
3. Remove Exhaust system assembly, 4WD.
4. Remove the Propeller shaft.
5. Unhook the hooks (A) from the control module and remove the protective cover (B) from the hydraulic pump.





6. Undo the cable clips (A).





7. Remove the electrical connection (A).

Important: Be careful that the differential clutch control module does not get damaged.





8. Use a column jack as support for the differential clutch, secure with cable ties (A).





9. Remove the bolts (B) for the differential clutch and limited slip differential.
10. Lower the differential clutch and limited slip differential.

To fit

Important: Be careful that the differential clutch control module does not get damaged.

1. Use a column jack as support for the differential clutch, secure with cable ties (A).





2. Raise the differential clutch and limited slip differential.
3. Fit the bolts (B) for the differential clutch and limited slip differential.

Tightening torque 90 Nm (66.3 ft. lbs.) + 90° + 15°

4. Fit the electrical connection (A).





5. Fit the cable clip (A).





6. Fit the Propeller shaft.
7. Fit Exhaust system assembly, 4WD.
8. Fit Drive shafts, rear, 4WD, left and right-hand side.
9. Fit the protective cover (B) to the hydraulic pump and hook the hooks (A) into the control module.





In the event of replacement, carry out Procedure after changing the control module.
