Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Installation






Important: Install the fluid feed pipes with the filter side of the pipe into the transmission case housing as shown in insert.

1. Install a 8 mm x 105.8 mm clutch pressure control solenoid fluid feed pipe (14) into the transmission case housing (31).
2. Install 2 8 mm x 58.3 mm clutch pressure control solenoid fluid feed pipes (15), (19) into the transmission case housing (31).





3. Install the following components on top of the clutch pressure control solenoid cover (84):
- 2 8 mm x 14 mm solenoid locating pins (33)
- A NEW clutch pressure control solenoid gasket (20) over the solenoid locating pins (33)

Important: Do not damage any of the O-ring seals (9) during installation of the clutch pressure control solenoid assembly (18).

4. Install a 7.7 mm x 2.3 mm clutch pressure control fluid passage pipe O-ring seal (9) over each of the 3 fluid passage pipes.





5. Install the clutch pressure control assembly (118) onto the solenoid cover (84) using the following flanged bolts/screws:
- 5 M6 x 1.0 x 25 mm (17)
- A M 61.0 55 mm (16)






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

6. Tighten the bolts/screws.
- Tighten the bolt/screws to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).
