Cargo Lamp Switch

Location: The switch is part of the trunk latch assembly (not serviced separately).

Check for damaged or corroded terminals or connectors. Check terminals for tightness.

Check resistance through the switch.

Switch resistance: OPEN when trunk closed Less than one ohm when trunk open.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Cargo Lamp
