Circuit 402

Location: Connects underhood junction block connector cavity B to instrument panel junction block connector cavity F5.

Type: Red 12 gage wire

Function: This circuit provides power to the instrument panel junction block.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 340/744

Function: These circuits provide power to the cargo lamp through the cargo lamp switch. The circuit is complete when the switch closes (trunk open).

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 340

Location: Connects instrument panel junction block connector cavity B8 (SC) or cavity C8 (SL) to cargo lamp switch connector cavity A.

Type: Orange 22 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the "Complaint-Condition" chart.


Circuit 744

Location: Connects cargo lamp switch connector cavity B to cargo lamp connector cavity B.

Type: Red/Black 22 gage wire

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
