Output Shaft Clearance Measurement
1. Assemble output shaft with 5th driven gear as shown.
Use old nut and torque.
- Torque: 150 N.m (lie ft. lbs).
2. Measure clearance between 3rd/4th cluster gear and 2nd driven gear.
- Clearance:
Standard: 0.20 mm - 0.35 mm (0.008 in. - 0.014 in.).
3. Measure clearance between 1st driven gear and 1st driven gear thrust washer.
- Clearance:
Standard: 0.20 mm - 0.0495 mm (0.008 in. - 0.019 in.).
